Kylee Zempel is a Research Fellow at Consumers’ Research in Washington, D.C., where she writes consumer news on issues related to healthcare, finance, energy, and technology. Previously a program advisor for the Institute on Political Journalism with The Fund for American Studies, she holds a BA in Communication Arts and an AS in Criminal Justice. An alumnus of TFAS, she also held internships with Radio America in Arlington, VA, and the Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin, Rebecca Kleefisch. Kylee currently resides in Washington, D.C., where she continues to write independently. In addition to politics and public speaking, she enjoys acting and directing, outdoor sports, running, art, coffee culture, and news consumption.
